Important note regarding COVID:

*We are currently providing City Kids from Infant through Pre-School. All kids will be temperature checked at the door and will not be admitted if they have a temperature. Our commitment to you is to have the safest and cleanest environments possible. Our volunteers will come healthy and they will wear a mask to help protect your family. Thank you for your understanding.

We understand how difficult parenting can be and want to come alongside you in the task of discipling your children. Not only will we teach your children about Jesus, but we also will equip you with the tools you need to teach them at home. We desire to partner together with you in nurturing the faith of your children.

“Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.” Proverbs 22:6

What to Expect

New families should expect to be greeted at check-in. We are happy to show your family to their classrooms and help everyone get settled. For your own peace of mind, we want you to know that all teachers are background-checked, trained, and supervised.

Children are led through contemporary worship songs honoring God with their voices and bodies as they dance and use hand motions.

We believe the Word of God should be taught boldly and correctly. Each week teachers open their Bibles and lead children in biblical truths at their level.

We are a church of small groups and this includes our children. Children engage in small group conversations about what they are learning that week, share prayer requests, apply the Bible to their lives, and play games to memorize scripture.

As a parent, you have the privilege of nurturing the faith of your children and have opportunities in everyday situations that can be used to apply the truth of God. We believe nurturing a child’s faith is not merely a classroom experience, but rather a consistent weaving of spiritual truth with everyday life. To come alongside you as you disciple your child, we are committed to Biblical teaching.

God is seeking worshipers, and we want our children to become followers of Jesus Christ the Lord (John 1:12), who will worship God in spirit and in truth (John 4:24).

Jesus is the friend who sticks closer than a brother (Proverbs 18:24). We want our children to understand and begin to experience a personal, growing relationship with Jesus Christ in community with other children (1 John 1:7).

The Holy Spirit has given every believer gifts and abilities, which are to be used in the service of Christ’s kingdom (1 Corinthians 14:12). We want our children to experience the joy of serving Christ and seeing their gifts used for His glory (John 9:24).

“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when your walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise. You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.” Deuteronomy 5:6-9
