At CityKids, we understand the challenges of parenting and want to come alongside you in the task of discipling your children. We desire to partner with you in nurturing the faith of your children.

Not only will we teach your children about God, His Word and living in faith, we will also equip you with the tools you need to pray for and teach them at home.

What to Expect

NEW FAMILIES
New families should expect to be greeted at the First Time Families check-in desk. We are happy to show your family to their classrooms and help everyone get settled. For your own peace of mind, we want you to know that all teachers are background-checked, trained, and supervised.

KIDS WORSHIP
Children are led through contemporary worship songs honoring God with their voices and bodies as they dance and use hand motions.

AGE APPROPRIATE BIBLE STORY & LESSON
We believe the Word of God should be taught boldly and correctly. Each week teachers open their Bibles and lead children in biblical truths at their level.

Children engage in small group conversations about what they are learning that week, share prayer requests, apply the Bible to their lives, and do crafts to help memorize scripture.

Teaching

As a parent, you have the privilege of nurturing the faith of your children and have opportunities in everyday situations that can be used to apply the truth of God. We believe nurturing a child’s faith is not merely a classroom experience, but rather a consistent weaving of spiritual truth with everyday life. To come alongside you as you disciple your child, we are committed to Biblical teaching.

KNOW: WORSHIP CHRIST
God is seeking worshipers, and we want our children to become followers of Jesus Christ the Lord (John 1:12), who will worship God in spirit and in truth (John 4:24).

GROW: WALK WITH CHRIST
Jesus is the friend who sticks closer than a brother (Proverbs 18:24). We want our children to understand and begin to experience a personal, growing relationship with Jesus Christ in community with other children (1 John 1:7).

SHOW: WORK FOR CHRIST
The Holy Spirit has given all believers gifts and abilities, which are to be used in the service of Christ’s kingdom (1 Corinthians 14:12). We want our children to experience the joy of serving Christ and seeing their gifts used for His glory (John 9:24).
